Disappointment
In
many ways this so called realization is the greatest
disappointment of all, in the story. It offers absolutely
no hope for the future – the dream character isn’t going to
get anything that is going to make the slightest bit of
difference.
There is just this empty witnessing and it will witness
without bias. Nothing can add to it or take away from it.
Strangely, when all hope is lost, all you have left is this
naked moment of awareness - and it turns out it's perfect
just as it is.
